How to Make a Revenue Recovery Payment
You can make a payment by credit card, debit card or e-check. The company that processes the electronic payments on our behalf will charge the following service fees:
- E-Checks: $0.75 per payment transaction
- Credit Card: 2.20% of the payment amount, with a minimum Service Fee of $2.00 per payment transaction

Telephone Payments by Debit or Credit Card
To pay by telephone call (855) 742-2155. Be sure to have your six-digit Revenue Recovery Account Number available.
Mail Payments
You can also mail your payments to the Revenue Recovery office. There are a few things to keep in mind when sending in your payments.
- Please send a check, money order or cashier’s check. Do not send cash.
- Write your case number on your check or money order.
- Make payment to: Revenue Recovery

Make Your Payment in Person
You may make payments in person at our office at 360 Fair Lane, Placerville, CA 95667 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. See our Holiday Schedule. We will accept cash, checks, or money orders. Payment by credit card or debit card is also accepted providing the card bears a VISA or MasterCard logo.
Note: If your case has been transferred to the State Franchise Tax Board, Court Ordered Debt Division (COD), you must contact them directly set up a payment plan and to make your payments. The number for COD is (916) 845-4064. When you get their menu of choices select 5 and then 0 to speak to an agent.
