Now Accepting Online Payments

  • El Dorado County Parks Division held a public meeting on February 28, 2024 for input on the Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Program Grant Applications. Please see the following OHV Grant Public Notice(PDF, 453KB).

  • The El Dorado County Chief Administrative Office/Parks Division and El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office has applied to the California Department of Parks and Recreation, Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division for the 2024 grants program for funding of projects on the Rubicon Trail. Please see the following Public Notice(PDF, 248KB). To submit comments to OHMVR directly, follow the instructions here. Public review and comments can be made through the California State Parks OHV Grants website March 5, 2024 to May 6, 2024. Public commenting is now closed. 
  • Henningsen Lotus Park 2024 Parking Passes are available December 1, 2023 for $31 and are valid through December 31, 2024. Passes can be purchased the following ways:
    • Chief Administrative Office, 330 Fair Lane, Bldg. A, Placerville, CA 95667
    • Parks & Trails Office, 200 Armory Drive, Placerville, CA 95667
    • Henningsen Lotus Park
    • Online Portal
  • El Dorado Trail/SPTC at Latrobe Road is closed due to a washout of the railroad tracks near the Latrobe Bridge and mudslides on the corridor.
