Road Work / Bridge Work Mosquito Road Bridge Replacement Road Closure

El Dorado County’s Department of Transportation (DOT) will be performing structures, drainage, materials deliveries, crane maintenance, road maintenance, and bridge maintenance work on Mosquito Road. The construction work will require full closure of Mosquito Road at the gates beginning Tuesday, May 30, 2026, and continue through Friday, August 7, 2026, while school is out of session.

$1.4 Million Grant to Improve Pollock Pines Forebay Park

El Dorado County Supervisor Brooke Laine today announced the El Dorado County Forebay Park Improvement Project has been recommended by the California State Parks and Recreation Department to receive $1.4 million to fund improvements to the 14-acre park in Pollock Pines. The competitive grant is funded through the National Park Service’s (NPS) Land and Water Conservation Fund.

Emergency Alert System

Alert Notification System "RAVE"

Emergency Alert System The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services alert and warning system provides a number of ways in which the county may contact the community in the event of an emergency such as evacuations due to wildfires, hazardous material spills, or urgent law enforcement operations.

The El Dorado County Office of Emergency Services partnered with Cal OES to bring the El Dorado County Emergency Alerts notification service to residents and businesses by app, telephone, cell phone, text message, email, and social media when there is a threat to the health or safety of residents.
