The Planning Commission for the County of El Dorado will, on March 12, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. in the Planning Commission Hearing Room at 2850 Fairlane Court, Placerville, hold a public hearing and vote on the recommendation for passage of a proposed amendments to Title 130 (Zoning Ordinance) of the County Code. The proposed amendment is for repealing Tobacco Retailer Land Use Regulations.

The County and TRPA are preparing a joint Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS) for the proposed Tahoe El Dorado Area Plan (TED Area Plan). This notice meets the CEQA and TRPA noticing requirements for a Notice of Preparation (NOP). There will be a scoping Meeting on March 25, 2026 before the TRPA Regional Plan Committee at 128 Market Street, Stateline, Nevada.
