Board of Appeals
The Board of Appeals determines the suitability of alternate materials and methods of construction and provides for reasonable interpretations of the Building Code. This Board hears and determines appeals from the rulings of the Building Official concerning any codes adopted by Ordinance 3862.7.
Membership
Seven members, not officials or employees of the county, five of whom are qualified by experience and training to pass upon matters pertaining to building construction; and two members from the community at large. Shall serve without compensation.
