Ballots for the March 5, 2024 election have been mailed to all registered voters in El Dorado County. Voters will receive a County voter information guide along with their ballot. Voters will receive a State guide with statewide candidate and measure information in a separate mailing that was sent beginning February 2nd.
Early voting begins February 5th in the Election Office at 3883 Ponderosa Rd. Shingle Springs, CA., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Election Office will be closed Monday, February 19 in observance of Presidents Day.
Voters who return their ballot through the Post Office can track it by signing up for "Where's my Ballot?" (https://california.ballottrax.net/voter/) to follow its return status to the Election Department.
"You can vote from home and return your ballot through the mail – no postage needed – or drop it off at any official ballot drop box or vote center in El Dorado County," said Bill O'Neill, County Registrar of Voters. "To find the closest drop box or vote center location, voters can go to the El Dorado County elections website."
