(PLACERVILLE, CA) – Missouri Flat Road will undergo a new traffic layout beginning September 19, 2026 as part of the County’s Diamond Springs Parkway Project. Traffic will be routed to the new pavement section between Halyard Lane and China Garden Road as indicated on the map below. The temporary Old Depot Road realignment will be moved to the new intersection shown. Motorists traveling northbound on Missouri Flat Road will need to make a left turn at the new intersection. Parking for El Dorado Trail and Old Depot Bike Park access will no longer be available under the pedestrian bridge or along Old Depot Road. Trail parking will instead be temporarily available at 4369 Golden Center Drive.
This new roadway layout will remain in place for approximately four months until the new traffic signals are completed for Diamond Springs Parkway. In the meantime, please reduce speed and drive carefully through this construction area.
