(PLACERVILLE, CA) – Segments of Bradley Drive and Throwita Way will be temporarily closed beginning July 16, 2026 as part of the County’s Diamond Springs Parkway Project. Access to the Material Recovery Facility will be through the new route between Highway 49 and Throwita Way shown in blue on the map below. Access to Truck Street will only be available from Highway 49 during this time. Detour signage will be installed in both directions of Highway 49 approaching Bradley Drive alerting drivers to this change.
This detour will remain in place for approximately two months until the realigned segment of Bradley Drive is reconstructed to accommodate the new Diamond Springs Parkway.
For questions regarding this project, please contact the County’s Transportation main line at (530) 621-5900 (select Option 3 for Engineering).
