LANE & SHOULDER CLOSURES SCHEDULED FOR PONY EXPRESS IN POLLOCK PINES

El Dorado County's Department of Transportation will be performing tree removals along the south side of Pony Express Trail between Sanders Drive and Sly Park Road beginning on December 4, 2023 and ending December 15th 2023, depending on weather.
This work will result in temporary shoulder and lane closures along the eastbound lane of Pony Express Trail with flagging. This temporary lane closure and flagging will be in place between approximately 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. beginning on Monday, December 4th, 2023. This tree removal work is part of the Pony Express Trail Bicycle, Pedestrian and ADA Improvements Capital Improvement Project being constructed next year.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone to arrive at their destinations on time.
