Road Work to Construct Four-Lane Road

El Dorado County’s Department of Transportation will be performing road work beginning in July 2025 and continuing through December 2026 at the following locations as part of the Diamond Springs Parkway Phase 1B Project.

El Dorado County will host two community workshops on June 23 and July 28, 2025, to gather feedback on how to adapt the County’s interim design standards to better reflect the vision and character of the Shingle Springs community.

EL DORADO COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS APPROVES $1 BILLION BUDGET

The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors approved the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Recommended Budget of $1.04 billion to fund the County’s programs and services. It reflects all Governmental funds, including Special Revenue funds, and excludes Special Districts and Proprietary funds. $409.9 million of that amount is the County’s general fund which funds public safety and general government services.
