The El Dorado County Recorder-Clerk’s Office is pleased to announce the launch of a new free Property Monitoring Service, powered by EquityProtect, designed to help property owners detect and deter property-related fraud.

According to K. E. Coleman, El Dorado County Tax Collector, the first installment of the secured property tax is now due and will be delinquent if not paid on or before December 10, 2025.

Crane Work on Mosquito Road Bridge

(PLACERVILLE, CA) -- El Dorado County’s Department of Transportation (DOT) will perform a monthly inspections and maintenance of the crane boom extension and crane located at Pier 3 of the bridge replacement project north of the river on Mosquito Road. These safety efforts will require road closures each month.
