130.44.100 – Ranch Marketing
The County began this process in 2023 to protect against the commercialization of agriculture while also ensuring that ranch marketing remains available to the farmers and ranchers in our county. Use permits are required for some activities or land uses on agriculturally zoned land. Some of these activities and uses include concerts, amplified music, total number of guests, etc.
Only special events held during the harvest season are allowed by right. An administrative permit is required for a special event held outside of the harvest season. These types of permits can be obtained by working with the Agriculture Department.
