The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) administers various programs that provide grants and loans for the creation of rental and homeownership opportunities for Californians from all walks of life. Developers interested in these grant and loan programs are encouraged to view the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) Calendar and review any associated program requirements. Developers who are eligible to apply and require County collaboration must complete the Affordable Housing County Participation Request Form(PDF, 323KB)* and submit to Loans@edcgov.us.
*The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors requires approval, per Board Policy A-6, for all County resolution applications related to grant funding. To meet this requirement, the Affordable Housing Unit requests that you submit your Affordable Housing County Participation Request Form and all supporting documentation at least 10 weeks prior to the HCD application deadline.
