Charter Review Committee
Per the County Charter, the Board of Supervisors shall convene a Charter Review Committee within five (5) years of the last charter review period. The committee shall review the County Charter and, after at least two (2) public hearings, make recommendations for amendments to the Board of Supervisors. (Charter Section 701). The Board appointed the last Charter Review Committee in June 2022.
Membership
Committee consists of a subcommittee of two County Board members or of one member and one alternate from each supervisorial district.
