Supervisor Veerkamp and I participated in the Standing Budget Ad Hoc Committee meeting with SEED representatives and staff to discuss updates to the SEED Committee Resolution, which will be coming to the board in October or November.
Supervisor Turnboo and I participated in a Biomass Ad Hoc phone meeting with Biomass Consultant to follow up on Ecostrat Rating report.

Attended 10 Years Open and 15 Years Ground Breaking Celebration at the Sherwood Demonstration Garden, presented by the UC Master Gardeners of El Dorado County.

Field tour of road projects in District 4, including new Mosquito Bridge, with Brian Mullens. I appreciated that Brian Franklin met us at the bridge to provide an update on its progress.
Supervisor Veerkamp and I participated with Assistant CAO Laura Schwartz in the Airport Ad Hoc Public Workshop. Great dialogue with users, good progress made on lease template, which will be brought to full board soon for approval.

Chaired the RCRC ESJPA meeting. Guest speaker was Emily Coven, California Executive Director of the Circular Action Alliance (CAA). CAA is the nonprofit organization that has been selected to implement the paper and packaging laws in SB 54.
Pioneer Community Energy board meeting. Much discussion about expansion to include new jurisdictions.

Jurisdictional Reorganization Ad Hoc and County staff met with members of the Garden Valley and Mosquito Fire Protection Districts boards and administration to start relationship building and discussion around how we can all work together to support fire service on the Georgetown Divide.
Joined Supervisor Laine on a virtual meeting regarding Plastics Recycling, including our local ordinances and SB 54.

Phone call with PARC regarding setting up a community meeting for a community discussion about the proposed Auburn to Cool trail bridge plan.
