2025 California Building Standards Code – Effective January 1, 2026

Effective January 1, 2026, all new plan review and permit applications submitted to El Dorado County must comply with the 2025 California Building Standards Code. This update includes the latest editions of the Building, Residential, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Energy, and Fire Codes, as adopted by the California Building Standards Commission.
