IMPORTANT UPDATES! 

There have been no changes or updates to the VHR Ordinance since 11/21/24 to current. Our 500 ft buffer remains in place. Please make sure that you are checking if you are within City limits or County. Our page is regularly updated with changes as they are approved.

Fees

  • New VHR Permits: $564.00
  • New HHR Permits: $282.00
  • VHR/HHR Sign Fees: $20.83
  • VHR Renewals: $282.00
  • Above fees do not include the fire safety inspection fee. That fee is based on the dwelling's size and is required with a new permit and every two years thereafter.
  • VHR/HHR Waitlists: $141.00
  • There is also a $31.00 Technology Fee Surcharge applied to new and renewing VHR applications. 
  • Permit Modification Fee $71.00 (for local contact changes and updates not made by the VHR/HHR Owner/Agent in HDL)
  • Fire Fee Executed Resolution 205-218(PDF, 188KB)
