Placerville: Then & Now

placerville-then-and-now-book.jpg By Joyce Thompson and Harry Critchfield

Inspired by the collection of historical photographs housed at the El Dorado County Historical Museum; comparing the old photos with a walk down Main Street, its fascinating what still looks the same and what has changed. Carefully researched, the history included with the photographs provides a unique history of Placerville's historic Main Street.
