Museum Volunteers
The El Dorado County Historical Museum Depends on Volunteers! 
Three main areas of volunteer service are:
- Research Room
- Museum Docent
- El Dorado Western Railroad
Currently, we are recruiting volunteers for the El Dorado Western Railroad and Museum Docents. Please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form (below) and staff will be in contact.
Our volunteers are invaluable to the success of the El Dorado County Museum and the El Dorado Western Railroad!
If you can help with the El Dorado Western Railroad operation, maintenance or track work, please stop by while the volunteers are operating on a Sunday to let them know of your interest. Go to the El Dorado Western Railroad Schedule to see where they are operating.
