What? SPECTERS ON GLASS: STUDIO PORTRAITURE IN EARLY 20TH CENTURY PLACERVILLE

A collaborative exhibit between the El Dorado County Museum and Arts & Culture El Dorado of photographic prints taken in Placerville, 1902 - 1910.  The Exhibit will be at the Switchboard Gallery August 22 - October 6, 2024.

When?  August 22, 2024, 6PM-8PM

Where?  Opening Reception at 525 Main Street, Placerville

What?  SAVE THE GRAVES - Law & Order: A Historical Perspective

When? October 19, 2024, 10AM-4PM

Where?  Placerville Union Cemetery on Bee Street in Placerville

Cost?  $15 

What is it?  Stroll the cemetery grounds and meet notable historic figures of El Dorado County.  Living history performances of those interred makes this event unique and entertaining.  All proceeds will help protect the pioneer cemeteries in El Dorado County.

In our position as a county resource for civil records and statistics, the Museum provided information to the "Save The Graves" group.  These records are available to the public with a Research Request, by emailing museum@edcgov.us.  Please include a description or as much detail as you can of the information you are looking for.  Museum staff and volunteers will answer research requests in the order they are submitted.
