Marble Valley Specific Plan Notice of Availability of the DEIR

Published on May 01, 2024

This DEIR was available for public and agency review for a 60-day period which began May 1, 2024, and ended July 1, 2024. Verbal Public Comments will also be accepted at the August 8, 2024 Planning Commission Informational Workshop. Exhibits and the Zoom link for the August 8, 2024 Planning Commission meeting virtually can be found at the Legistar link, when published. The purpose of this comment period is to consider the content of the DEIR and the potential environmental impacts that may result from project implementation, not the positive or negative attributes of the proposed project itself. Comments pertaining to the environmental impact analysis, criteria and thresholds, mitigation measures and alternatives presented in the DEIR will be considered by the County during preparation of the Final EIR. The Final EIR will include copies of the comments and the County’s responses to comments pertaining to the environmental review and Draft EIR.

The County of El Dorado hosted an open house to present a general overview and environmental information of both the Village of Marble Valley and Lime Rock Valley projects. The meeting was held in-person on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Assembly Hall at the Cameron Park Community Services District Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive, Cameron Park, CA 95682. Open house Summary Sheets for the DEIR can be found here.
