Food Assistance

Nutrition is critical to a happy and healthy life. There are multiple programs in El Dorado County for residents to get the food and nutrition they need. The two major programs are the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and CalFresh programs. Together, these programs can help you access the food assistance that you and your family need.

CalFresh, formerly Food Stamps, is a federally funded program that helps low-income people get the nutrition they need.
