The California Smokers' Helpline can help you quit smoking. Helpline services are free and funded by the California Department of Public Health. When you call, a friendly staff person will offer a choice of services: self-help materials, referral services and one-on-one counseling over the phone.

- The Great American Smokeout is held each year on the third Thursday in November. Visit the American Cancer Society's website for more info.
