Oral Health Program - El Dorado Smiles
Good oral health is essential for overall well-being and effective learning. El Dorado Smiles is dedicated to promoting oral health in El Dorado County and Alpine County communities. We team up with community groups, youth organizations, schools, and dentists to raise awareness and support oral health.
El Dorado Smiles focuses on five key program components:
- Oral Health Education
- Dental Disease Prevention
- Access to Dental Care
- Local Oral Health Data Collection
- Outreach and Case Management Services
Our program includes building partnerships, training community organizations in oral health, conducting educational classes, implementing school-based and school-linked programs to overcome barriers to care, and supporting initiatives like the El Dorado Smiles mobile dental van.
