A Program Serving the Western Slope of El Dorado County
El Dorado County Older Adult Day Services operates an adult day service program facility in Placerville. "The Club" adult day service program provides a warm, nurturing and friendly setting, offering a world of activity for body, mind and spirit; helping adults remain active and involved in the world around them. Friendships blossom while participants enjoy activities designed to add meaning to their lives, improve mental and physical function, and increase their sense of worth. The Club give families peace of mind and a break from caregiving responsibilities. The Club also provides supportive services, resources, education and respite care for family members who are taking care of those with dementia and other chronic health issues.

Older Adult Day Service Program
Daily services include:
- A hot noon lunch and two nutritious snacks
- Curb-to-curb transportation (in certain areas)
- Specialized dementia care
- Assistance with personal care, including incontinence
- Assistance with self-medication
- Group and individual exercise programs
- Modified group sports such as bowling, volleyball & shuffleboard
- Crafts & Ceramics; watercolor and acrylic painting classes
- Live entertainment
- Music and dancing
- Field trips and outings
- Other Services

Cost for Services
The Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-2026 Daily rate is $80.00 for up to 8 hours per day. A 10% frequency discount is applied when attendance is more than 10 days per month and 12% is applied when attendance is more than 18 days per month. Fees are affordable, especially when compared with the cost of in-home care, a care home, or other alternative care. Subsidies may be available dependent upon eligibility, available funding, and special circumstances. Call today for more information.

Hours, Locations and Contact Information
Placerville Center

The Placerville Center is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is located a 935A Spring Street in Placerville (between the County Health Department and Placerville Senior Center). Extended hours may be available for an additional fee.
Round trip transportation may be coordinated through El Dorado Transit for a small per ride fee, Monday through Friday. There are currently two operating routes, one route is for members within Placerville and the other route is for members commuting from El Dorado Hills. Eligible members will need to obtain an El Dorado Transit Connect Card, which can be obtained through the El Dorado Transit office at 6565 Commerce Drive in Diamond Springs. Departure and Arrival times are established by the program in collaboration with El Dorado Transit.
