Adult Day Services
A Program Serving the Western Slope of El Dorado County
El Dorado County Older Adult Day Services operates two adult day centers - one in Placerville and one in El Dorado Hills. "The Club" adult day centers provide a warm, nurturing and friendly setting, offering a world of activity for body, mind and spirit; helping adults remain active and involved in the world around them. Friendships blossom while participants enjoy activities designed to add meaning to their lives, improve mental and physical function, and increase their sense of worth. The Centers give families peace of mind and a break from caregiving responsibilities. The Club also provides supportive services, resources, education and respite care for family members who are taking care of those with dementia and other chronic health issues.

Older Adult Day Centers
The Older Adult Day Centers include:
- A hot noon meal and two nutritious snacks
- Modified diets
- Curb-to-curb transportation (in certain areas)
- Specialized dementia care
- Assistance with personal care including incontinence
- Assistance with medication
- Group and individual exercise programs
- Physical therapy evaluation & maintenance program
- Modified sports such as bowling, volleyball & shuffleboard
- Crafts & Ceramics; watercolor & acrylic painting classes
- Live entertainment
- Music & dancing
- Field trips and outings
- Other Services

Cost for Services
Daily rate is $58 per 8 hour day. A frequency discount is applied when attendance is more than 10 days and more than 18 days per month. Our fees are very affordable, especially when compared with the cost of in-home care, a care home or other alternative care. Call today for more information.

The Placerville Center is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is located a 935A Spring Street in Placerville (between the County Health Department and Placerville Senior Center). Extended hours available for an additional fee.
