Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) from Concern is designed to help with short-term counseling needs. It offers quick and easy access to confidential, professional assistance and resources to help employees address difficulties related to emotional concerns, relationships, substance abuse, as well as legal and financial concerns.

All services are confidential and in accordance with professional ethics and federal and state laws. Use of the EAP is strictly voluntary.

Emotional Health

When you need a helping hand, a skilled professional can provide focus, direction, and support. Concern EAP can help you identify and resolve issues involving:

  • Marriage and relationships
  • Family conflict
  • Stress, anxiety and emotional distress
  • Grief and loss
  • Alcohol or drug dependency
  • Life changes

Eligible members may receive:

  • Face-to-face counseling: up to five (5) sessions per person, per issue, per 12-month period with a Concern network provider
  • Telephonic consultations: for maximum convenience and anonymity
  • Web-video consultations: convenient and easy, but with a more personal touch than traditional telephonic
  • Limited chat/text services

Work-Life Resources

Parent Coaching: Three free telephonic sessions per year with an experienced certified coach. Experienced parent coaches can help you understand the issues, guide you in making decisions and provide you with the tools to help you create healthier, more fulfilling relationships with your child(ren).

Financial: Free one to two 30-minute phone consultations with a financial specialist to help you with tax preparation, identity theft protection, managing debt, home purchase and college planning, retirement planning, and more.

Legal: Free 30-minute consultation with a qualified attorney to help you with domestic relations, estate planning, civil law, landlord/tenant matters, real estate/probate, identity theft, and more. 25% discount off normal hourly rates if you retain their services.
