The El Dorado County Navigation Center is a 60-bed referral-only shelter. Please contact The Front Door at (530) 600-2822 to determine eligibility.

### Public Notice – El Dorado County Public Housing Authority Five-Year Plan

 The El Dorado County Public Housing Authority (EDCPHA) has prepared its proposed Five-Year Public Housing Agency (PHA) Plan(PDF, 162KB) in accordance with requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The Five-Year PHA Plan(PDF, 162KB) serves as a comprehensive guide to the Public Housing Authority's mission, goals, objectives, and policies for administering federal housing assistance programs, including the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

The proposed plan is available for public review and comment for a period of forty-five (45) days, beginning on May 15, 2026, and ending on June 29, 2026. 

Members of the public are encouraged to review the proposed plan(PDF, 162KB) and submit written comments during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to:

A public hearing to receive comments on the proposed plan will be held on a date to be determined.  The date and location of the meeting will be posted here when determined.

Following the conclusion of the public comment period and public hearing, the proposed plan and any public comments received will be placed on the calendar of the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors, acting as the governing board of the Public Housing Authority, for consideration and approval.
