Cameron Park Community Design Standards

Starting in May 2025, the County will begin working with community members to create permanent design standards for new multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial projects in the County's Community Regions—beginning with Shingle Springs, followed by El Dorado/Diamond Springs, Cameron Park, and El Dorado Hills. We'll share more information here as it becomes available.

On Monday, October 27, 2025, the Cameron Park Design Review Committee (DRC) will be hosting a County kickoff meeting for the Cameron Park community design standards. At this meeting, staff will provide a project overview and announce an important opportunity for community members to participate in a Stakeholder Advisory Team (SAT) to assist staff and consultants with developing the new standards.  Click here(PDF, 433KB)  for information about the SAT and how to apply!
