Cameron Park Community Design Standards

Cameron Park Lake Painting

Starting in May 2025, the County began working with community members to create permanent design standards for new multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial projects in the County's Community Regions (Shingle Springs, El Dorado/Diamond Springs, Cameron Park, and El Dorado Hills).

On Monday, October 27, 2025, the Cameron Park Design Review Committee (DRC) hosted a County kickoff meeting for the Cameron Park community design standards. At this meeting, staff provided a project overview and announced an opportunity for community members to participate in a Stakeholder Advisory Team (SAT) to assist staff and consultants with developing the new standards. For meeting details, see the "Community Workshops" tab below.

Share your thoughts!  Community workshops are anticipated in early 2026 to receive community feedback on the draft Cameron Park community design standards.  Workshop details will be posted here as soon as they are available.
