Shingle Springs Community Design Standards
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the Board of Supervisors adopted the Shingle Springs Design Standards and Guidelines(PDF, 5MB) applying to commercial, multifamily and mixed-use development in the Shingle Springs Community Region. This document will become effective on April 3, 2026. Thank you to all community members and County departments/agencies who provided valuable feedback throughout the development of this document!

Community Workshops
On June 23, 2025, the County held a community workshop to collect input on an Administrative Draft of the Shingle Springs Community Design Standards, which included design standards for commercial, multifamily and mixed-use development in the Shingle Springs Community Region.
