El Dorado/Diamond Springs Community Design Standards
Starting in May 2025, the County began working with community members to create permanent design standards for new multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial projects in the County's Community Regions—beginning with Shingle Springs, followed by El Dorado/Diamond Springs, Cameron Park, and El Dorado Hills.
On Thursday, August 21, 2025, the Diamond Springs & El Dorado Community Advisory Committee (CAC) will be hosting a County kickoff meeting for the Diamond Springs & El Dorado community design standards.
