Shingle Springs Community Design Standards
The County is developing permanent design standards for the Shingle Springs Community Region, launched in May 2025.
Thank you to the Shingle Springs community for providing feedback on the draft Shingle Springs Design Standards and Guidelines (SSDSG) during the June and July 2025 workshops and the following 30-day comment period!
The draft SSDSG, updated with community feedback, is scheduled for a Planning Commission public hearing on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Click here(PDF, 7MB) to download and save a copy of the Public Hearing Draft.

Community Workshops
On June 23, 2025, the County held a community workshop to collect input on an Administrative Draft of the Shingle Springs Community Design Standards, which included design standards for commercial, multifamily and mixed-use development in the Shingle Springs Community Region.
