Renewal EMTs

All EMTs that apply for renewal after July 1, 2019 will need to show a certificate of completion in Naloxone, Epinephrine, and glucometer training in order to renew an EMT Certificate. This is in addition to the skills verification form (SCV 01/17) which is required at every renewal. This is a one-time training by an approved training program or CE Provider. The EMS Agency highly recommends EMTs keep a copy of the certificate in case you switch to a different certifying entity and need to submit proof of training. If you possess a current California Paramedic license, you do not need to complete the training.
