Any EMTs/Paramedics with license expiration dates in November, December or January are encouraged to renew their licenses as soon as possible using the current system to avoid any delays or lapses.

EMT Certification/Accreditation

This page contains instructions, required forms and links to online applications for all EMS Personnel. Please contact EDC EMS Agency if you need assistance or have questions.

Note: CPR, ACLS, PALS, and PEPP courses must have an instructor led, hands-on classroom skills component. Certification cards issued for online only courses with no hands-on skills component will not be accepted.

Our agency recommends that NREMT certification is maintained in addition to California State EMT licenses.
