El Dorado County uses an online tax sale module called Bid4Assets.

Please register online with Bid4Assets to participate in upcoming tax sale auctions.

Real Property

• Bid4Assets: Tax Defaulted Properties Auction
• Registration for Tax Defaulted Real Property will require a $3,000.00 (three thousand dollars) refundable deposit.

Timeshares

• Bid4Assets: Tax Defaulted Timeshare Properties Auction
• Registration for Tax Defaulted Timeshare Property will require a $250.00 (two hundred and fifty dollars) refundable deposit.

Right of Redemption

As an owner of a property up for auction, you may be able to prevent the sale of your property using the Right of Redemption. Property owners can prevent the sale of their property by paying overdue taxes, penalties, fees, and costs, but this right ends at 5 p.m. on the last business day before the auction.
