Parks and Recreation Commission

What is the Parks and Recreation Commission?

The Commission oversees development and maintenance of recreational opportunities within its borders. The Commission works closely with those jurisdictions endeavoring always to retain as much local control and citizen involvement as possible.

Membership

One member shall be appointed by the Board of Supervisors for each Supervisorial District in the County to represent that district on said Commission. Member shall hold office for a term in concurrence with the term of office of the Supervisor who appoints the commissioner. Members shall continue in office as hold over members after the expiration of their term until the appointment of their successors in office.

Meetings

The Commission meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 3:00 p.m. in Conference Room D, 330 Fair Lane, Bldg. A, Placerville, CA (unless otherwise noted on the Meeting Schedule).
