12/11/2025 - Pioneer Park will be closed to the public on Monday, December 15, 2025, for weed spraying. The park will reopen on Tuesday, December 16.
12/1/2025 - Henningsen Lotus Park 2026 Annual Parking Passes are now available for purchase and will be valid until December 31, 2026.
10/30/2025 - Please see the updated Parks Division Fee Schedule(PDF, 440KB) effective December 1, 2025.
10/9/2025 - El Dorado Trail between Forni Road and the Weber Creek Bridge will be closed for defensible space and ladder fuel clearing every Thursday and Friday until further notice. (updated 10/17/2025)
9/3/2025 - Old Depot Road will be realigned as part of the Diamond Springs Parkway Project. Temporary detour in place starting September 4, 2025. Please see the following News Release(PDF, 683KB) for more information.

5/14/2025 - El Dorado County Department of Transportation in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration - Central Federal Lands Highway Division and Martin Brothers Construction will be performing road work on Ice House Road between the intersection of Peavine Ridge Road to the junction of Wentworth Springs Road in the El Dorado National Forest Monday, May 12, 2025 and continuing through approximately October 2025.
