Mother Teresa Maternity Home - Mother Teresa Maternity Home provides round-the-clock staffing to meet our residents’ needs. The Staff at MTMH is well-versed in trauma-informed care. We have assembled a team of people who have backgrounds in education, family counseling, midwifery, nursing, sober living support, mental health care and domestic violence support.
New Morning Youth & Family Services -For over 50 years, New Morning has provided a safety net of services to youth and their families in El Dorado County. These services include the 24-hour Emergency Youth Shelter (the only one in El Dorado County) for homeless and runaway youth. We have programs to support alcohol and drug treatment for adolescents, counseling and support for pregnant and parenting teens, and counseling for high-risk youth (youth who are abused, suicidal, experiencing school failure, runaway or thrown out of their home, or engaging in delinquent behavior).

Disability Assistance

InAlliance - Since 1952, InAlliance has provided support to thousands of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the greater Sacramento area.
Department of Rehabilitation (State of California) - The California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) works in partnership with consumers and other stakeholders to provide services and advocacy resulting in employment, independent living, and equality for individuals with disabilities.
Alta Regional - Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a private, non-profit corporation working under contract with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, to provide services to persons, age three and above, with a developmental disability pursuant to the Lanterman Act.
M.O.R.E. Rehab - MORE is a private non-profit, 501(c)(3) that makes dreams come true for the people we serve. We are purpose-driven leaders committed to improving the quality of life of these special individuals we connect with every day.
Dial-A-Ride - Dial-A-Ride is El Dorado Transit’s curb-to-curb transportation service, available by advanced reservation. Curb-to-curb means that the Dial-A-Ride van or bus will pick up a passenger at the designated location at a pre-scheduled time and take them to a pre-scheduled destination. Sometimes passengers will share a ride with other passengers; this is to ensure that El Dorado Transit can provide service for the largest number of passengers possible. Ride requests are accepted on a first come/first served basis. Dial-A-Ride is available to seniors (60 and older) and persons with disabilities who are registered in the El Dorado Transit Dial-A-Ride system.
Douglas Area Rural Transit - Douglas County provides transportation through Douglas Area Rural Transit (DART). We offer two distinct options for those general public, seniors and ADA riders who choose DART for their transportation needs. Each of our buses is equipped with wheelchair lifts and bike racks for your convenience.

The Center For Violence Free Relationships - The Center is a safe haven for women and families in crisis, providing security and resources to ensure healing from sexual abuse and trauma by providing education, counseling, and assistance programs that improve lives.
Live Violence Free - Live Violence Free is committed to promoting a violence-free community through education and advocacy to address domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.
National Domestic Violence Hotline - 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, the National Domestic Violence Hotline provides essential tools and support to help survivors of domestic violence so they can live their lives free of abuse.
RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) - RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization.

Education Assistance

El Dorado County Office of Education (EDCOE) - At our core, EDCOE supports the diverse educational needs of El Dorado County’s student population not only in schools but throughout the community.
El Dorado County Law Library (County of El Dorado) - The Law Library offers on-line WestLaw and CEB services for residents and business owners to use in researching their legal issues.

Placer Independent Resource Services (PIRS) - Placer Independent Resource Services strives to advocate, empower, educate the community and provide services for people with disabilities, enabling them to control their alternatives for independent living.
Soroptimist International of Placerville - Soroptimist is particularly concerned with providing women and girls with access to education, as this is the most effective path to self-determination.
Folsom Lake College - Folsom Lake College is committed to enriching and empowering students by bridging knowledge, experience, and innovation. New Beginnings Gold Country - New Beginnings is a re-entry and discipleship ministry 501(c)(3) non-profit organization where the formerly incarcerated, homeless, and people living a dead-end lifestyle, can change their lives, free of charge. Alcoholics Anonymous - Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem. It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem.
Sierra Foothills Area Narcotics Anonymous - Narcotics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who are learning to live without drugs. We meet regularly to help each other stay clean. We are not interested in what you have done in the past, only in what you want to do about your problem and how we can help.
TreeHouse Ministries - TreeHouse Ministries was founded in 1990 to train and assist men in recovery, transitioning from addiction and determining to learn new ways of life and skills to acheive success.
Sierra Foothills AIDS Foundation - The Sierra Foothills AIDS Foundation (SFAF) is a community-based, nonprofit organization. Affordable Housing Program (County of El Dorado) - Assisting low-income residents including homebuyers seeking second mortgage, owner-occupied rehabilitation and building fee deferral.
Housing and Homelessness (County of El Dorado) - The El Dorado County Public Housing Authority operates the HUD rental subsidy assistance program (formerly known as Section 8 housing).
Public Housing Authority (County of El Dorado) - The Public Housing Authority (PHA) is a legal entity under the umbrella organization of the El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency, Community Services Division, and Housing & Homelessness Services.
Air Quality Grants and Incentives (County of El Dorado) - The El Dorado County Air Quality Management District, along with State and Federal agencies provide incentives and grants to help improve the air quality of our County.

Clean Slate Clinic - Placer County’s Business Advantage Network in association with Legal Services of Northern California offers a Clean Slate Clinic monthly the first Wednesday of every month to assist participants in removing or dismissing past convictions from their records.

Mental Health Assistance

Behavioral Health (County of El Dorado) - Providing exemplary community-based mental health and substance use disorder treatment, in collaboration with the Public Guardian, and other partner agencies, within a coordinated, cost-effective system of care.
A Balanced Life: Individual, Family, and Child Therapy, Inc. - A Balanced Life has been a trusted center for providing therapy to the South Lake Tahoe community for over 12 years and works in collaboration and partnerships with various community entities.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

Senior Adult Services

Adult Protective Services (County of El Dorado) - The Adult Protective Services (APS) program is supervised by the California Department of Social Services and administered locally by the El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency.
Older Adult Services (County of El Dorado) - Working to inform, guide and link older adults and their families to services in the community that meet their unique needs.
Family Caregiver Support (County of El Dorado) - The federally-funded Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP) provides a system of support services to help informal caregivers of older adults and grandparent/relative caregivers who provide care for children.
In Home Support Services (County of El Dorado) - The In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Program pays for supportive services that help people remain safely in their own home.
Long Term Care Ombudsman (County of El Dorado) - An ombudsman is a specially trained and state-certified advocate who has authority under California law to identify, investigate and resolve complaints made by, or on behalf of, long-term care (LTC) facility residents.
Older Adult Nutrition Services (County of El Dorado) - Senior Nutrition menus and articles are prepared by a Registered Dietitian and provide opportunities for older adults to gather as a community.
Adult Day Services - The Club (County of El Dorado) - El Dorado County Older Adult Day Services operates two adult day centers - one in Placerville and one in El Dorado Hills.
SAFE-D of El Dorado County - Safety Accomodation For Elders and the Disabled (SAFE-D) is a local non-profit of volunteers providing free installation of in-home, fall prevention equipment for low-income elder or disabled county residents.

Shingle Springs Tribal TANF Program (SSTTP) - Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians' Tribal TANF program serves eligible Native American families in Sacramento, El Dorado, Yolo and Placer counties to provide important tools and teaches skills to empower Native families to achieve self-sufficiency.

Veteran Services (County of El Dorado) - El Dorado County Department of Veteran Services was established by the Board of Supervisors of El Dorado County to assist veterans, their dependents, and survivors in obtaining entitlements from federal, state, and local agencies administering veterans programs.
Department of Veteran Affairs (U.S. Government) - The VA is responsible for administering benefit programs for veterans, their families, and their survivors. These benefits include pension, education, disability compensation, home loans, life insurance, vocational rehabilitation, survivor support, medical care, and burial benefits.
