Immunizations
Vaccines can help prevent the spread of communicable diseases among people. The adult and pediatric vaccines provided to us are through federally funded programs such as the CA Vaccines for Children (VFC), 317-Local Health Department for Adults, and the Bridge Access Program (BAP). These programs enable us to offer them at low or no cost to people without health insurance. These vaccines are the same name brands offered in private practice.

Tuberculosis Testing
Tuberculosis (TB) is a serious disease that attacks the lungs and can lead to death if not properly treated. TB is spread by breathing in germs from an infected person. One of the testing methods to find out if you are infected with TB is to have a Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) skin test. A PPD test is a skin test that determine if you have TB. The test is quick and painless. Results are usually available in two to three days. If you are from a country where TB infection rates are high or have recently come in contact with someone who has active TB, then a PPD skin test is recommended. Call us to schedule an appointment.
