Operations

The Operations Division is responsible for patrolling the unincorporated areas of El Dorado County, investigating crimes, and responding to emergencies and disasters. Within patrol, the Sheriff has designated specialty units to assist specific populations, such as Resident Deputies, School Resource Officers, Psychiatric Emergency Response and Homeless Outreach.
